| Chief
Master Sergeant (Ret) H. W. B. (T) Tinnirella is the Director, Retiree
Activities Office, 35th Fighter Wing at Misawa Air Base Japan. He
is responsible for providing assistance and information to approximately
four hundred and fifty retirees, dependents and survivors of military
retirees in northern Japan (includes prefectures of Fukushima, Yamagata,
Miyagi, Iwate, Akita, Aomori and the northern island of Hokkaido).
He is responsible for assisting in casualty affairs, social security,
tax preparation, and insuring survivors of military personnel from
all branches of service receive the benefits they are entitled to.
Publishes a quarterly newsletter which is mailed to all retirees in
the area of responsibility. He established the office at Misawa in
February 2000. Chief Tinnirella is a life member of the VFW and MOC,
having served two-times as Post Commander of Post 9681 and as a National
Aide de Camp.
Chief
Tinnirella, originally from Saratoga Springs, New York, resides
in Misawa, Japan with his spouse Emiko (Hirai).
